Next Tuesday (20th May 8.45AM in the MPR) is our regular Pastries with Principal get together.  We would like to stress that this event is open to all, and we'd love to see you there. It's an informal session, with open dialogue, friendly batter and a chance to catch up.  One of our most important goals is to always keep open the lines of communication and hear from you directly.

This is important for several reasons, including providing a platform for addressing student needs, resolving concerns, and fostering a positive school environment. We can also help students navigate the school system, advocate for their interests, and offer guidance on academic and extracurricular opportunities, amongst many other topics.
These meetings provide a vital role in communicating important information to students and families.  If you can make it, it would be great to see you there.

1st Grade Field Trip

What amazing weather, and what a blast for First Grade!!!  If you have never been, Wilhelma Zoo is a great day out for the kids.

The students got to check out the Zoo and Botanical Gardens, and of course ice cream!!  there are over 11,500 animals comprised of roughly 1,200 species .. and  6000 plants!! We hope they came home to tell a few stories.

Fun Fact : Wilhelma receives gorilla juveniles rejected by their mother and reared by the zookeepers. At age 2–3, the gorillas are sent back to their original zoo(s)

The Joy of Movement

Line Dancing engages various muscle groups, improves cardiovascular health, and offers cognitive benefits. Line dancing can be a fun and effective way to stay active and improve overall fitness.  What a way to knock it out of the park! Learn to dance, exercise and have fun at the same time.
