This week was Teacher Appreciation Week.  Our teachers illuminate paths of knowledge, guiding students toward limitless possibilities. From morning greetings and classroom discussions to after-school support and thoughtful feedback, teachers shine their light on every aspect of student growth and development. Each day, they spark curiosity, kindle creativity and brighten the future for every student in their care.  We want to thank our teachers, and our community for all of the wonderful messages, stocking our staff room fridge full of goodies, all the lovely thoughtful notes and gifts from students and parents, and much more.
This week was also a chance for us to give  our special thanks to the SES PTA, and all of the volunteers that have helped make this year so successful.  We hoped you enjoyed the volunteer reception, we want to sincerely express our thanks for everything you all do.  Whether it was volunteering on a field trip, helping with maths in the class room, or driving an amazing event for the school.  It's been a great year, we could not do this without you.

What a week !! Thank you to ALL

3rd Grade Making Learning  Fun ....

Check out 3rd Grade on their field trip to Experimenta.  The world is full of questions ... When does steel break? How well can computers understand emotions.  This field trip was all about experiencing science and technology, and getting to the bottom of their questions through hands on learning.

The Joy of Movement

Line Dancing engages various muscle groups, improves cardiovascular health, and offers cognitive benefits. Line dancing can be a fun and effective way to stay active and improve overall fitness.  What a way to knock it out of the park! Learn to dance, exercise and have fun at the same time.

Month of the Military Child Post Cards

In honor of the Month of the Military Child, students will be bringing home a special postcard this week, a small gift to help them connect with someone important in their lives.

If your child would like to send their postcard, simply have them drop the completed, addressed card in the Dandelion Express mailbox (inside the school entrance) by Friday, May 17.

The PTA will handle postage and mailing—no stamp needed!

Thanks for helping us celebrate our military-connected kids!
